About Us
Delivering knowledge that saves lives with care that builds confidence
At Emergcare, we believe first aid isn’t just about emergencies: It’s about the comfort that comes with knowing what to do, and the calm that follows when you realise you can make a difference.
Since 1991, our team has stood beside parents, carers, workplaces, and communities, sharing knowledge that saves lives.
Founded by paramedics, we’ve been delivering trusted first aid education to communities across Australia for over 30 years. Our programs are developed with compassion and backed by evidence, created in collaboration with Kidsafe Victoria and the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE), and aligned with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Our courses cover infant and child CPR as well as some of the most common emergency situations that involve children, including choking, burns, drowning, fractures, bleeding, allergies (e.g. anaphylaxis) and poisoning. You will learn the first aid skills needed to manage these situations, we will answer any questions you may have, and there will be plenty of time for practise too!
Yes, babies are absolutely welcome at our baby & child first aid sessions. Please feel free to bring your little one along, and don’t worry if they need feeding, settling, or have a cry – we’ve all been there. Breastfeeding is welcome too.

Our Perinatal First Aid course is delivered in partnership with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) and is designed specifically for new and expectant parents. It includes everything covered in our Paediatric First Aid training, alongside additional education and evidence-based resources to support your emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and early parenthood.

Yes, all of our first aid courses include CPR training. You’ll learn how to recognise when CPR is needed and how to perform it confidently for babies and children. Our sessions are practical and hands-on, so you’ll have the opportunity to practise these skills in a supportive environment.
We require a minimum of 10 people for a private group booking. There is no set maximum, as long as your venue has access to basic equipment (such as a screen or TV for the presentation and a power outlet) and can comfortably accommodate your group with enough space for hands-on practice.
